Responsibilities:
The School Operations Coordinator (Weedon campus) is primarily responsible for (1) all aspects of the campus which impact its daily operation, and (2) coordination of special programs and events at the campus. Working closely with the School Director, the OC ensures daily campus life and any special programs run efficiently and effectively. Specifically, the OC monitors campus facilities, grounds, supplies, and furnishings to ensure they are operable and available as needed. The OC also assists with the organization, execution, and maintenance of special programs and events on campus.
Duties for the position are diverse and require significant organization and flexibility.
This position ensures coordination and timely completion of assigned projects while performing other administrative duties such as general typing, preparation of correspondence, file/report maintenance, appointment/meeting scheduling, and both internal and external communication. Responsibilities require attention to detail, organization and accuracy of tasks.
Reports to School Director, who holds the employee responsible for the achievement of desired goals and objectives.
Required Education and skills:
Associates or Baccalaureate degree in related field preferred.
Possess strong organizational and time management skills, ability to prioritize responsibilities based on critical thinking skills. Self-motivated and able to problem solve and follow through to achieve high quality outcomes.
- Communicate effectively, both orally and written, as well as respectfully communicate with all levels of staff and external customers.
- Extensive Microsoft Office software and Google doc skills are required, as well as Internet research abilities.
- Knowledge of office technologies, such as scanning, faxing, communication software, and copying required.
- Work with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Can adapt to changing environments, be innovative, and be dependable.
- Must be able to work well with others.
- Willingness to learn new processes and adapt to a changing work environment, often under strict time frames.
Hours:
7:30 am – 1:15 pm Monday through Thursday and some Fridays from 7:45-12:15. This job follows a school calendar (August – May) and is equivalent to about 40 weeks of the above. It is not full time work.
