Lead a womenswear fashion design team focusing on dresses, jackets, coats, tops, and accessories. Develop multiple collections a year, including developing concepts, sourcing fabrics and trims, color swatching, generating design sketches and illustrations, 3D fabric draping, creating embroidery layouts, and sewing first prototypes. Create CAD original prints from initial idea to final technical execution, including screen printing designs for production prototype. Coordinate local and overseas production, including grading and marking, selecting and purchasing fabrics, sourcing trims, and ensuring quality standards for multiple categories, including sweaters, active wear, caps, beanies, socks, blankets, and accessories. Create look book layouts for press and marketing and work with stylists, PR, showrooms, and magazines to market the collections. Design performance active wear for men and women. Maintain daily communication with multiple clients to ensure orders are being met to their specifications.Requirements : Bachelors degree in fashion design or related field.Four years of fashion design experience in womens and mens sportswear, athleisure, and accessories.Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.Knowledge of pattern making and garment construction.Experience working with overseas factories and vendors.Proficiency with technical flats sketching with construction details.Proficiency with hand drawn fashion illustrations.Knowledge of fabric categories, including wovens and knitwear.Intermittent domestic travel.
