- Can work a minimum of 1-2 weekends on call a month
- Can work a minimum of 1-2 weekday evenings a week on call
- Must be reliable, professional and have a desire to make a positive impact in the lives of our clients as well as the Kore Care team
- Willing to work as a caregiver and is skilled to work with a variety of levels of care (Hoyer lifts, stand aides, gait belt transfers, personal cares, housekeeping and companionship)
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Participate in on call schedule which will include weekday evenings, rotating weekends and holidays
- Be available to fill in as a caregiver as needed while on call
- Administrative duties may include training and mentoring caregiver and recruitment activities
- Assist clients in living their best life if the place they call home
- Assist with personal cares such as bathing, toileting, dressing and personal hygiene
- Assist with ambulation and transfer of clients with or without adaptive equipment
- Remind clients to take medications
- Complete light housekeeping and other support services including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, errands and transportation
- Plan and prepare meals, assist with feeding and assist with kitchen clean up
- Provide socialization and companionship
- All other duties outlined in client care plan
Qualifications:
- 2 years’ experience in healthcare as a certified nurse’s assistant, home care caregiver, personal care aide preferred
Must be able to physically perform the duties of the position - Must be able to read, write, understand and speak English
- Must have reliable transportation, current driver’s license and valid car insurance
