We are seeking a Data Lake Architect with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design and implement a secure, high-performance data lake tailored for retail operations. This role focuses on data ingestion, transformation, governance, and visualization, ensuring scalable solutions that meet compliance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Architecture & Design : Build and implement a multi-layered data lake (Bronze, Silver, Gold) on GCP.
- Data Ingestion : Integrate data from retail systems (Shopify, Aptos MERCH, Aptos CRM, Aptos SALES AUDIT, Aptos WMS) using DataFlow, Cloud Functions, and other GCP tools.
- Data Transformation : Develop ETL / ELT pipelines for data cleaning, enrichment, and curation.
- Data Governance : Establish frameworks for security, metadata management, lineage tracking, and compliance (GDPR, CCPA).
- Monitoring & Cost Optimization : Use Cloud Monitoring, Logging, and billing tools to ensure performance and cost-efficiency.
- Visualization : Enable actionable insights through seamless integration with Power BI and BigQuery.
- Collaboration : Work with engineers and stakeholders to align solutions with business goals.
