- This is a Direct Hire position that will be fully onsite. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic HR Director to lead our Human Resources department and drive a people-first culture in a fast-paced, trend-driven environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HR leadership, a deep understanding of talent acquisition, performance management, culture-building, and compliance, and a passion for the fashion and e-commerce industries. This role will play a key part in developing and implementing HR strategies that support our business growth while fostering a creative, diverse, and inclusive workplace.Key Responsibilities : Strategic HR Leadership : -Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.-Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team, ensuring alignment with company goals.-Oversee all HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation, training & development, and compliance.Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning : -Drive innovative recruiting strategies to attract top talent in fashion, retail, and e-commerce.-Partner with department heads to identify workforce needs and create talent pipelines.Culture & Employee Engagement : -Cultivate an engaging and high-performance workplace culture that reflects our brand and values-Develop employee recognition programs and engagement strategies.-Drive employee satisfaction, retention, and well-being initiatives.Performance & Development : -Implement a performance management system that fosters growth and accountability.-Lead training & development programs to support leadership and employee growth.-Provide coaching and mentorship to managers on effective people management.Compensation & Benefits Management : -Ensure competitive salary structures and benefits packages align with industry standards.-Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws.-Partner with finance teams to manage HR budgets and forecasting.Compliance & Risk Management : -Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.-Develop and enforce HR policies that maintain legal and ethical workplace standards.-Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace investigations.Qualifications & Experience : -Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree or HR certifications preferred).-10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (preferably in fashion, retail, or e-commerce).-Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and talent management strategies.-Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.-Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.-Proven ability to drive culture, engagement, and talent development.-Experience in the fashion, beauty, or retail sector preferred. -Passion for trend-driven, influencer-based business models preferred. -Knowledge of HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and digital HR tools.Compensation depends on experience but is typically 160k - 175k ABOUT KORE1Specializing in professional and technical recruiting, KORE1 is committed to supporting top IT, Engineering, Creative, Scientific, Accounting and Finance professionals in their career paths.
