KORE1 Technologies has an immediate opening for a Medical Biller/Collector III with strong expertise in medical billing and collections. This is a hybrid role, based out of Baldwin Park, CA, where you will work 1 day a week in the office.
As a key member of our team, your primary responsibilities will include:
This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding. Additionally, you should be proficient in Epic, Cerner, or other hospital billing systems. A Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) certification is preferred but not required.
As a key member of our team, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Preparing, reviewing, and submitting professional and institutional claims to government and commercial payers.
- Reviewing Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and Electronic Remittance Advice (ERAs) to ensure payments are accurate and processed according to contract terms.
- Correcting and resubmitting denied or rejected claims; managing appeals and reconsideration requests.
- Maintaining detailed notes in the billing system to track actions and progress on each account.
