The KOREAN CULTURAL CENTER OF CHICAGO is a dynamic and forward-thinking organization dedicated to promoting Korean culture and community engagement. We are seeking an experienced and inspiring Executive Director to lead us into an exciting future, shaping and executing a strategic vision that strengthens our cultural and community impact.
Job Description
- Lead and direct all aspects of our organization's operations and strategy.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive plan to achieve our mission and goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community members, stakeholders, and partners.
- Oversee and guide impactful programs in collaboration with Program Directors to serve our community.
- Partner with the Treasurer and Finance Committee to manage budgets and oversee financial processes.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of executive leadership experience in nonprofit management.
- Proven success in budget management, fundraising, and partnership development.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and effectively lead diverse teams.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in tools such as QuickBooks, and donor management systems (preferred).
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (advanced degree preferred).
- Experience working with the Korean American community is highly desirable.
- Bilingual proficiency in Korean is a plus.
