Job Title: Interim to Hire AI/ML Platform Engineer
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI/ML Platform Engineer to join our team on an interim to hire basis. As a Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the internal platforms that our development teams use to deploy and manage applications. You will play a crucial role in creating tools that enable our AI/ML team to operate efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient deployment processes.
- Create and manage automated testing frameworks to ensure the reliability and quality of AI/ML models.
- Develop tools and platforms to support AI/ML initiatives, including data processing, model training, and deployment.
- Collaborate with the AI/ML team to understand their needs and provide solutions that enhance their productivity.
- Support requests for AI enablement.
- Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of the platforms and tools developed.
- Continuously improve and optimize the platform to meet the evolving needs of the AI/ML team.
Must Haves:
- Proven experience as a Platform Engineer, specifically in the AI/ML domain.
- Expertise in creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
- Strong background in developing tools to support AI/ML workflows.
- Familiarity with various ML Ops tools and technologies.
- Self-starter with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a mid-sized environment and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
- Understanding of data engineering and data pipeline concepts.
