Korn Ferry has partnered with a regional Chicago firm in its search for an IP/Trademark Attorney. The practice represents a diverse client base, in and out of the technology and manufacturing sectors.
This is a fantastic opportunity to build a practice with an established firm that offers career advancement with demonstrated ability. An entrepreneurial-minded attorney will be very well-supported. You will play a critical role in managing and leading matters with clients.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 4 years of relevant experience
- Strong client service mindset
- Proven experience with prosecution, enforcement, TTAB proceedings, including with international portfolios
- Experience working on transactional matters – mostly IP, IT and advertising; some sales and distributorship agreements
- Ability to advise and guide clients on regulatory issues, e.g. privacy
- USPTO registration a plus
- High level of academic achievement
- Admitted to the Illinois State Bar
Base compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience with an expected range of $160,000 - $200,000 annually. Offers a comprehensive benefits package, paid time off, annual bonus(es), 401K, healthcare.
