Scope of Responsibilities:
- Prepares monthly journal entries, calculates monthly sales commissions
- Analyzes general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and to support variance explanations
- Performs complex account reconciliations for multiple locations
- Assists with the preparation of monthly management reporting packages
- Reviews monthly forecasts for reasonableness.
- Calculate and manage monthly sales commissions
- Support AR Collections and cash management
- Collaborate with Revenue Accounting manager to report consolidated revenue by client
Skills Needed:
- Have a strong understanding of accounting standards (US GAAP)
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to manage direct reports and mentor others
- Strong attention to detail, demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Experience with implementing and maintaining ERP/accounting systems
- Highly proficient in Excel -pivot tables and vlookups
Educational & Work Requirements:
- Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Work Experience: 5 years in a similar role
- CPA or Eligible
Salary Range: $105-115K bonus
