The Credit Analyst is responsible for overseeing the financial management of high-volume accounts, including General Contractors, Sub-contractors, and independent installers . This role focuses on extensive day-to-day evaluat ion of creditworthiness, managing collections, and en suring timely order releases through proactive follow-ups, effective communication, and meticulous documentation. This role will be reporting to the Credit and Resolutions Manager and located in our Corporate Office in Fairlawn, OH .

- Review receivables status and initiate appropriate collection actions.
- Evaluate account status for approval of new orders based on established guidelines.
- Research and resolve disputes on delinquent account balances, including correcting misapplied payments or overpayments, and collaborate with customers and internal teams for resolution.
- Track delinquent account status and document collection efforts. Recommend credit limit adjustments when necessary.
- Identify accounts suitable for referral to outside collection agencies and monitor progress.
- Work to improve receivables turnover while balancing customer needs.
- Partner with sales representatives to resolve disputes or address delinquent accounts.
- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Finance, A ccounting or Business Administration.
- Minimum 3 years credit analyst experience, preferably in the building materials or construction industry.
- Experience with the Collections and/or Construction Lien process preferable.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and electronically with the a bility to communicate with people at all organization levels.
- Strong PC experience, including Word and Excel
- M ust be able to sit for long periods of time and have the ability to lift up to 20lbs safely .
