Position Overview
The Manufacturing Human Resources Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of HR within Koroseal's manufacturing facility. They ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, manage employee relations, and lead recruitment, training, and development programs.
The Manufacturing HR Manager will be based at our Louisville, KY operations facility, with travel to our other facilities, or as required (less than 15% annually). This position reports to the Vice President of Talent & Technology.
Key Responsibilities:
The Manufacturing Human Resources Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of HR within Koroseal's manufacturing facility. They ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, manage employee relations, and lead recruitment, training, and development programs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage employee relations, including addressing employee grievances, conflicts, and other workplace issues.
- Lead recruitment and selection activities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring of candidates.
- Collaborate on and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including wage and hour laws, safety regulations, and other employment-related laws.
- Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs, including hourly payroll, salary structures, bonus programs, and employee benefits.
- Maintain accurate HR records, including personnel files, attendance records, and other HR-related documents.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Manage and mentor HR staff, including providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Leverage HR technology and systems to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the employee experience.
- Lead employee retention and engagement initiatives, fostering a positive workplace culture and improving employee satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field. A master's degree in HR is a plus.
- At least 3-6 years of experience in HR, with a minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations, including wage and hour laws, safety regulations, and other employment-related laws.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing and mentoring HR team
- Proficient in HRIS and other HR software applications.
