Position Overview
The Showroom & Design Curator Coordinator will work cross functionally with multiple departments to assist customers in the specification of Koroseal Interior Products. This individual will work to understand the business, market and trend needs to support the selection of product solutions that position Koroseal Interior Products as a design leader in the interiors market with their customers. This position also plays an integral role in maintaining and growing our brand presence in a high-volume market. In addition to managing the day-to-day operations in the showroom, including customer interactions, they are responsible for maintaining the samples library. In addition, they will also assist the Design Curator Manager to pull prints, patterns and colors for use in the interior finishing industry, based on customer requested schemes and project inspiration boards. The ideal candidate will be energetic, outgoing, have a keen eye for color, strong communication skills, and a passion for interior design. This role will report out of our Las Vegas Showroom location. Travel will average less than 15% travel per year and may include market research, company participation in trade shows and trend shows.

Key Responsibilities:
Greet Customers, log/ track onsite customer interactions, plan and execute onsite events.
Assist customers with design solutions, including product palettes based on client or project needs.
Oversee day-to-day showroom operations, including but not limited to stockroom organization, sample and supply inventory & replenishment, cleaning and organization.
Coordinate with internal & external partners on showroom maintenance and improvement projects.
Assist local sales reps as requested.
Develop knowledge of market insight, product trends and key customers.
Assist with quality driven product and sales goals established by leadership.
Manage work assignments, prioritize tasks and maintain high-quality standards to meet deadlines and productivity goals set by the Design Curator Manager.
Assist customers with visualizing Koroseal materials in their space.
Coordinate products and make material selections for customer projects.
Implement creative and constructive feedback from customers to help inform product and market development.
Curate (with assistance) & deliver sample packages to key Vegas area account regularly, based on pre-defined schedule.
Attend industry events as needed.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or associate degree with equivalent experience in business administration, marketing, or interior design.
2-3 years of experience in a service-oriented industry highly preferred, (hospitality design or commercial construction.)
Must maintain a good record of attendance.
Display and demonstrate a professional and ethical work attitude.
Receive a satisfactory performance evaluation on his/her last review.
Excellent understanding of color theory, pattern, and design composition & must pass a color hue test.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-past environment.
Knowledge of photoshop and CAD.
Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-directed individual w/excellent organizational and communication skills.
Display and demonstrate a professional and ethical work attitude.
Outgoing, customer centric, mindset.
Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time and have ability to lift up to 20lbs safely.
