POSITION OVERVIEW //
The Services Coordinator works with the Director of Services, Services Managers and members of the Services Team including but not limited to the duties listed below, as well as performing a variety of responsibilities required by Directors and Executive Team. The Services Coordinator will learn our business from planning to operating various services DBD offers. This position requires a natural attention to detail, task management and comfortable operating in a fast-paced work environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES //
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Assist Destination and Event Managers to develop, implement, and oversee administrative tasks to support event related needs

Prepare and review event orders and scheduling of the events

Confirm all event services and necessary preparations

Schedule, direct and coordinate the activities of field staff, subcontractors and vendors as required to successfully execute the assigned events

Research and Shop specialty items as needed for events

Make deliveries and pick-ups for management team

Effectively communicate information internally and externally through written correspondence and oral communication with the client, hotel/venue contacts

Act as internal liaison between departments for managerial support

Responsible for all other aspects of programs and events set forth by the Destinations by Design service standards

Perform other duties as assigned by Services Manager(s), Director of Services, Directors, and Executive Team
Qualifications
DESIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & QUALIFICATIONS //
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- 1-2 years related experience within the hospitality industry
- Ability to work successfully and solve problems in a deadline-driven environment where multitasking is commonplace
- Ability to work independently and with a strong attention to detail
- Valid Nevada Driver’s License
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS //
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
