The Journey:

Receiving & Inspection: Receive and inspect incoming shipments for damages, accuracy, and completeness. Ensure products match purchase orders and vendor invoices.
Inventory Management: Verify and record received products into the system and update inventory levels. Assist with cycle counting and stock adjustments as needed.
Documentation: Prepare receiving reports and update the system with accurate data for inventory and tracking purposes. Follow set SOPs for receiving processes.
Storage & Organization: Ensure products are stored correctly in the warehouse according to company guidelines.
Coordination: Work closely with the inventory and shipping teams to ensure that all received goods are ready for processing or distribution.
Quality Control: Identify and report discrepancies, damaged goods, or mis-shipped items and take appropriate action to resolve them.
Record Keeping and Data Entry: Accurately input and maintain data related to incoming shipments and inventory.
Customer Service: Communicate with vendors or internal departments to address receiving-related inquiries or issues.
Safety Compliance: Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and adhere to all safety protocols.
Efficiency and Optimization: Identify opportunities for improving the receiving process and reducing errors.

The Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience in shipping, warehousing, or distribution centers
- Attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy in receiving documents, product quantities, and storage locations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset
- Physical Stamina and Ability to Lift
- Familiarity with ERP systems for managing vendor data
- Experience with inventory management, receiving processes, and warehouse layout.
- Computer proficiency: Familiarity with receiving software, inventory systems, and data entry.
