PMHNP - Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Inpatient/Outpatient

Korzen Health is working with one of the largest healthcare systems in the area. Location is Columbia, TN (short commute from Franklin, TN).

We are currently hiring a PMHNP for an inpatient facility. Come join a growing department as they expand more services.

Job details:

• No Call, M-F 1/2 day inpatient rounding up to 10 patients,
  
• 1/2 day O/P up to 12 patients. O/P blocks are 20/30/40 minutes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to assess clients mental health status, medication needs, and treatment goals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including therapists, social workers, and medical staff to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage medication for clients, with a focus on minimizing side effects and monitoring for drug interactions.
• Provide medication education to clients and family members to ensure proper compliance and understanding.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss client progress, treatment adjustments, and ongoing care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Stay up-to-date on best practices, new research, and medications related to psychiatric and behavioral health care.
