Job Title: Fiber Technician 1099
Job Summary:
We're seeking a skilled and motivated Fiber Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fiber optic networks for residential and commercial customers. The ideal candidate has experience with fiber splicing, troubleshooting, and working safely in a variety of environments.
Responsibilities:
- Install and terminate fiber optic cables
- Perform splicing and testing of fiber networks
- Troubleshoot and repair network issues
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
- Ensure compliance with safety standards
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in fiber optics or telecom preferred
- Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Own truck and tools
- Ability to pass Drug test and Background check
