Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently using Aloha POS or similar systems.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while following cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely order completion.
- Uphold food handling standards to ensure safety and quality.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in guest services or the food industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of sales techniques, particularly upselling, is advantageous.
- Must be able to handle cash transactions responsibly and accurately.
