We do that through first-hand experience consulting services, staff development tools, enrollment software, and industry-leading seminars and events. Job Description

Senior Account Executive

Kovar Systems - Carmichael, CA

We are a thought leader in the martial arts industry and have helped to shape how martial arts schools operate worldwide. Kovar Systems is quickly growing, and we are looking for a talented, fun, and hard-working Senior Account Executive to accelerate our growing customer base across three continents.

As Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for successfully selling the Kovar Systems value proposition to prospects, primarily over the phone. You will benefit from inbound leads as well as research prospective customers, create outreach strategies, and identify opportunities. You will run online demos of Kovar Systems products. Target clients will largely consist of - but not be limited to - small business and sole proprietorships. This role is an inside sales position working at our Carmichael HQ and requires almost ZERO travel, though travel opportunities may be available.

  • Leverage our organization's vast and widely respected industry knowledge to create outreach strategies and identify opportunities with prospective customers.
  • Develop a personal and thorough industry knowledge to earn the respect of leads and prospects through your understanding of their challenges and the martial arts culture
  • Become an expert in identifying and understanding challenges that our prospective customers face, and advise school operators on the benefits of Kovar Systems products
  • Close new business consistently at or above quota level
  • Serve as a brand enthusiast for the Kovar Systems suite of products and solutions
  • Follow up on highly qualified opportunities
  • Build relationships with prospects and internal stake holders to grow new business
  • Work collaboratively with marketing and product development to execute sales strategy as the team introduces enhancements to existing solutions and / or releases new products
  • Bring your thinking, strategies, and ideas to advance our company's values, unique culture, and vision for the future
  • You Should Have :

  • Experience within a sales team that produces and exceeds their goals consistently
  • Experience in a startup environment, if possible
  • Evidence that you are a Top Producer (as defined by production results that put you at the top 5% of your peers) and / or, Over Quota / President's Club type
  • 2-7 years of selling experience operating within web-based technologies or innovative online product environment
  • The ability to make detailed consultative sales
  • Experience in a BDR supported or cold-calling sales environment
  • Experience working with small business owners, marketers, and executives
  • The ability to advance the vision of the team
  • Strong learning skills and the ability to identify key benefits, differentiators, and selling points of Kovar Systems products versus other martial arts consulting services
  • A sharp focus on your goals
  • A passion for personal development and helping other to achieve more
  • Superior communications skills, both written and verbal

  • Additional Information

    Required Education : B.A. or B.S. degree
