Lead Gardener

KP Landscapes is a small, family owned and operated business that has been installing and maintaining landscapes in the Yampa Valley for over 20 years.

We are looking to hire a Lead Gardener to run our garden maintenance division. The Lead Gardener will oversee and coordinate landscape maintenance activities, ensuring the effective care and maintenance of residential and commercial gardens. This role requires leadership skills, plant knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team to deliver high-quality results. The Lead Gardener will be responsible for training and supervising gardening staff, managing maintenance schedules, maintaining accurate records of work performed, maintaining client satisfaction through expert care and attention to detail. This is a Full time seasonal position (May-Oct) with occasional weekend work during peak seasons.

Qualifications:

• Proven Experience in Gardening
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
• Ability to work in various outdoor conditions, including hot, cold, or wet environments.
• Strong knowledge of plant care and identification
• Ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license
