Job Title - Mixologist/Bartender
Reports To: Restaurant Manager
FLSA Status: Non - Exempt
Job Summary:
The mixologist/bartender will provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Utilizing all craft cocktail
techniques to make classic and innovative drinks to standards. He/she will carry through the craft cocktail
program(s), serving all ranges of beverages available while being positively interactive and engaging with all
guest Exceeding guests satisfaction and expectations through daily work performances.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare all types of beverages offered for bar and restaurant patrons
- Consistently interact and engage with customers positively, take and serve orders
- Assess customers' needs and preferences and make knowledgeable recommendations
Applies advanced bar Imowledge and techniques when mixing ingredients to prepare
cocktails to all standards
- Consistently follows all quantity and quality standards
- Assist with producing and presenting bar menu along with its items Abide by all health
compliances and regulations
- Abide by all proper age checking procedures and cutoff policies Consistently applies
proper storage and rotating procedures
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience Comply with all food
and beverage regulations
- Perform other duties as requested
- Treat all coworkers, guests, and visitors respectfully at all times Prepare all required
items
Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of all bar products, equipment, and techniques
- Advanced knowledge in producing and executing craft cocktails
- Advanced bar service etiquette and skills Computer literacy is a plus
Consistently applies a positive attitude and excellent communication skills Ability to keep bar
organized, stocked and clean according to all compliances
- Relevant training certificate is a plus
- Valid food handlers card (for Riverside County)
- TIPS Certification
- 3 years minimum work experience in mixolow or craft cocktail preparing 3 years
minimum in Bartending

- Mount Palomar is a working winery with production spaces, event spaces,
vineyards, and guest areas. Mixed area types include office environments, wine
and vineyard production areas, and guest areas including a restaurant, tasting
room, and event space.
- Mount Palomar is a fast paced, high-energy, moderately noisy environment
containing multiple personality types. Can become crowded and high-pressure,
especially on the weekends and during holiday period.
