What are the responsibilities and job description for the Workers' Compensation Legal Assistant position at KPM LAW (Kalbaugh Pfund & Messersmith, P.C.)?
KPM Law is seeking a full time legal assistant with at least 2 years of experience for its Workers’ Compensation practice. If you are efficient, highly organized, detail oriented and can work for more than one attorney in a fast-paced environment, this job could be for you! Job involves tracking discovery due dates, calendaring events, managing deadlines, following up on diaries, opening files, issuing SDTs, tracking receipt of medicals, coordinating depositions and IMEs, etc. We work together as a team and are looking for someone with those skills who is also energetic, positive and a team player. At least two years of litigation support is necessary and prior workers' compensation experience is preferred, but not required if you are a fast learner. Being able to juggle responsibilities and work efficiently and accurately is a must. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook also required.
