Responsibilities:
- Apply comprehensive as well as specialist knowledge in security and risk to design and implement strategies as well as programs to identity, mitigate and minimize risks associated to security threats to the firm and the management of private and public sector intelligence resources
- Responsible for planning, developing, and implementing third party and supply chain security services and operations with standardized playbooks aligned to industry best practices and maturity; proactively meet evolving business requirements to safeguard KPMG resources and business interests
- Review and prepare technical products, reports, and other deliverables based on expert interpretation of analyzed data; direct, plan, and execute sensitive and complex operations and projects
- Act as a trusted strategic partner, collaborating closely with the Office of General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, Firm Ombudsman, Risk Management, Third Party Risk Management Program Office, Talent and Culture, and other stakeholders
- Oversee the development, implementation and maintenance of relevant third-party security related policies, standards, and playbooks that serve to govern and manage such services
- Minimum eight years of recent experience handling internal investigations in a large corporate environment or government entity; specialized experience in supply chain security, workplace threat assessment, international risk management, open-source intelligence models, and risk assessment processes required
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; Master's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
- Leadership experience in developing, implementing, and managing security related third party and workplace threat assessment programs; ability to establish credibility as a business partner with all levels within a matrix organization and exhibit a high degree of influence
- Strategic thinker with the capability of handling multiple, concurrent situations and investigations
- Outstanding verbal/written communication, collaboration, presentation, and negotiation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and teamwork; ability to foster the development of high-performance teams; capability of building strong professional relationships with ability to influence all levels across the organization
- Ability to set and execute strategic initiatives for team; creative thinker with ability to identify innovative business solutions; capability to develop strategic organization and resource plans, defining next generation business and leadership needs
