KPMG is currently seeking a Lead Engineer I, Software Developer to join our Ignition Tax Products organization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of developers to develop web applications, which includes technical discussions, gathering team estimates, ensuring timely deployments, approving pull requests, among other leadership tasks
- Develop applications with Angular 8 , TypeScript, and Microsoft .NET Core (C#) with MS SQL Server as the database backend
- Design database schema; develop stored procedures in MS SQL database.
- Perform unit testing and troubleshoot applications built on Angular, ASP.NET, .NET, C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, and SQL Server
- Practice standard development process leveraging agile methodologies such as SCRUM and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Review and analyze business requirements, as well as provide technical feasibility and estimates; create technical documents for software products using Visio, PowerPoint and Office
- Minimum eight years of recent progressive experience developing software utilizing .NET technologies with minimum two years of recent experience as a lead
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field is preferred
- Experience developing applications using ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET Web API (Restful APIs), Inversion of Control (IOC) containers with a strong understanding in responsive Web Application Development
- Background with Angular 8 components and services development along with TypeScript and JavaScript skills
- Ability to plan, lead, and organize complex deliverables that provide options for an organization to make decisions against
