Responsibilities:
- Create, lead and manage communication multimedia campaigns; make video scripts, storyboards and other mediums and collaborate/coordinate with media specialist (for example, graphic designer or videographer) to tell compelling stories, and drive project solution adoption and utilization; liaise with marketing, project stakeholders, learning, corporate communications, and other professionals to ensure alignment of messaging, processes, and standards
- Organize initiatives and plan events to ensure groups remain well informed including managing events calendars, editorial calendars, leadership/project team briefings, town halls, all staff briefings, newsletters, lunch and learns, and others as assigned; maintain a communications calendar that provides leadership with a consistent view of all communications within IT such as tower specific, product specific, project specific, firmwide, and more
- Oversee progress of all IT projects communications and act as track communications lead on IT projects requiring communications including FAQs, Quick Reference Cards (QRCs), and more; manage the communications review cycles and ensure reviews are completed in a timely manner; conduct communication channel analysis and formalize annual communication plan, that is employee centric and improves IT internal communications based on a deep understanding of the different groups and personas within IT
- Support and drive strategic vision for IT communications, establishing and maintaining the methodology to manage the pipeline and prioritize opportunities; support the design, development, delivery and management of communications; be the voice of change to define what leadership messaging to stakeholders; create messaging and collateral that helps drive user experience sentiment to the organization such as executive communication, presentations, and others
- Develop and implement strategic and tactical communication plans that meet agreed upon project timelines and requirements; drive engagement and adoption, with employees and stakeholders, and execute plan elements such as videos, town halls, web pages, and content creation across all channels
- Minimum five years of recent experience in leading strategic communications related to project and products, as well as with leveraging change management methodology and applying as appropriate for the business environment
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; Master of Business Administration from an accredited college or university is desired
- Writing experience in marketing and/or communications for Technology products/OCM teams/User Experience; previous experience with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle
- Capability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority; must be able to prioritize, delegate and foster the development of high-performance teams to lead/support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork; ability to participate in resource planning processes based on defined organizational plans
- Exceptional written, verbal, presentation and editorial skills, with keen attention to detail; ability to think creatively, out of the box; strong trouble-shooting and organizational skills; capacity to work on multiple projects simultaneously
