Responsibilities:
- Drive organizational transformation by defining comprehensive ServiceNow architecture and strategies that align with the firm's technology standards and design goals; analyze business requirements early in project cycles to determine the appropriate ServiceNow modules, products, integration technologies, system architectures, and patterns to effectively achieve business objectives
- Team closely with the Enterprise Architecture team to ensure ServiceNow solutions are appropriate and aligned with the information technology (IT) strategy, enterprise system landscape, technology environment, and capabilities roadmap
- Offer strong architectural leadership, encompassing technical design documentation and diagramming of logical, physical, and process views across multiple technology domains; spearhead technology evaluation efforts by identifying a weighted feature matrix, scoring products against desired features, and conducting thorough research including readings, Proof of Concepts (POCs) Proof of Concepts, and lab testing
- Collaborate on the creation and progression of product roadmaps, encompassing right solution selection, version control, upgrades, project milestones, and best practices communication through presentations, team collaborations, and educational content
- Partner with project teams to guide solution implementation, providing advisory support to application, engineering, and operations teams, and ensuring strategic coherence and integration
- Facilitate and oversee enterprise-wide strategy definition across logical, physical, and process views within multiple technology sectors; lead and manage a team of architects and both onshore and offshore resources
- Minimum twelve years of recent experience in architecting and delivering ServiceNow solutions across multiple enterprise architecture domains (technology, application, information, and infrastructure), with a minimum of six years recent experience focused on ServiceNow and people leadership experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
- Experience or certification in architecture frameworks, coupled with proficiency in application architecture roadmaps and the development of contextual, conceptual, and logical models aligning both business and technical capabilities
- Demonstrated profound expertise in at least five distinct ServiceNow modules beyond IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM); general knowledge of technical architecture capabilities related to networking, security, servers, and data
- Thorough understanding of ServiceNow platform solution architecture and integrating other SaaS solutions with these platforms; capability to develop and present comprehensive presentations, architecture functions, and technical roadmaps to varied levels of management and technical personnel
- Outstanding verbal/written communication, collaboration, analytical, and presentation skills, enabling the creation of a customer service and teamwork-driven environment; proven leadership abilities, particularly in managing teams through change, with excellence in communication, coaching, goal setting, and participating in strategic initiatives to foster high-performance teams
