KPMG is currently seeking a Specialist, Solutions Management to join our Managed Services practice.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Managed Services target operating model (TOM) and service delivery model, working with business SMEs to define delivery model, business case, and solution artifacts; guide team members on alternative outsourcing models including as-a-service and managed service to optimize client value
- Support solution managers to ensure adherence to the defined solution management and managed services operating model; manage solutions and investments through the Managed Services (PIM) governance process, assisting solution leadership with governance and reporting for the solution portfolio
- Drive the day-to-day management of deliverables for a cross-functional team across product engineering, service delivery, and go-to-market for new solution development and existing solution management activities
- Create solution project plans and roadmaps, track and report on deliverables, status, risks, issues, decisions, and project financials including profits and losses; support Senior Solution Manager and Lead Specialist Solution Manager in developing budgets; assist in requirements gathering for new and existing solutions, and facilitate Agile ceremonies for solution delivery
- Perform quality reviews on existing solutions to ensure required artifacts have been created; host meetings with the core team to capture progress on key deliverables and report on progress through various status and business reviews; monitor progress against the baselined business case, track detailed client closure, revenue realization, and actual costs against the agreed plan
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
- Minimum one year of recent experience in Product Management, Project Management, Solution Development, Requirements Analysis, Business Analysis, Lead Architect, and/or Solution Delivery for a technology services company in a highly technical and fast-paced delivery environment, including six months of recent experience in providing client services (consulting experience)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited course of study in product management, solution development, engineering, computer science, business management, or business information system; prior internship experience in product management, project management, IT business management, IT software development, or business analysis preferred
- Strong analytical and judgment skills, strong interpersonal and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong project management skills and ability to present work to middle management.
- Proven skills in Target Operating Model Design, Shared Services Model Design, Business Case Design, Product Management, Product Development, Strategy and Transformation Consulting, Business Process Consulting - Tech Gen., Business Intelligence/Information Management/Data Analytics, Digital Design
- Ability to travel as necessary
