Position Overview:
KPS Alarms, a leader in Residential Smart Home Alarms, A/V, and Networking has now launched our Commercial Division. Be a part of this exciting growth by joining our experienced team of professionals. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Representative. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the largest and most trusted (Google Rated 4.7) alarm companies in California and play a key role in growing our commercial portfolio.
As a Sales Representative, you will focus on selling fire alarm and sprinkler systems, security alarms, access control solutions, (self sustained) job site surveillance system, and video surveillance solutions to businesses and commercial clients across California and beyond.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new commercial sales leads and develop relationships with potential business clients and commercial GC's.
- Present and promote our full range of commercial security solutions, including fire alarms, security alarms, access control, networking, music systems, active shooter warning systems, and video surveillance.
- Conduct site assessments and design custom security solutions tailored to the needs of the client.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Provide excellent customer service and support throughout the sales process, from initial contact to post-installation.
- Collaborate with the installation and service teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and product knowledge to effectively sell and position KPS Alarms offerings.
Qualifications:
- A driven builder and go-getter with high career goals.
- Proven track record in sales, preferably in the security / fire protection industry.
- Strong understanding of commercial security systems (fire alarms, access control, video surveillance, etc.).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Prior experience in B2B sales.
- Ability to understand technical product details and communicate them effectively to clients.
- Valid driver s license and reliable transportation.
- GC relationships a huge plus.
