- About the Company:
Kraft Chemical Company is a leading chemical distributor of food, personal care, household, and industrial chemicals since 1935. Our headquarters is in Lake Zurich, IL.
- About the Position:
The qualified individual will be responsible for coordinating the securing of documents of the entire product line. The individual will also be fulfilling customer requests and services for the company in an efficient and economical manner.
- _Primary Responsibilities:Work on various customer requests and internal projects that require bridging chemical regulatory compliance and chemistry principals.
Work with various regulatory documentation including but not limited to: Specification
Sheets, SDS (Safety Data Sheets), Kosher Certificates, Halal Certificates, NutritionalStatements, etc._
- Gather required documentation for the complete product line which requires working directly with vendors, manufacturers, and the Sales team.
- With the assistance of management, identify emerging chemical regulations, research latest registration requirements and general regulatory changes and develop strategies to meet them.
- Adhere to all procedures and templates.
- Respond to standard customer regulatory requests which include requests for product documentation (as stated in second bullet point) as well as the filling of questionnaires and surveys.
- Assist in the maintaining of an organized library of standard responses, documents, and data.
- Prioritize customer requests to amplify efficiency.
- Adhere to performance metrics to ensure all customer requests are appropriately addressed and completed.
- “Kraft” any/all original vendor documentation upon request from Sales team or corresponding requests in coordination with the “Kraft Brand”. This will entail the transfer of documentation/information on to Kraft Chemical letterhead.
- Maintain open communication with the Sales team to keep them aware of any ongoing issues with documentation requests.
Requirements:
Self-directed, highly motivated individual with:
- 1-2 years experience within a chemical industry environment preferred, but general experience within other industries will be considered in lieu of.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including advanced skills with Excel, Word(a typing test will be required), and Outlook.
- Knowledge of Chempax, eChempax, DocuShare and OneNote systems is a plus.
- Extremely strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are necessary.
- Must be able to multi-task and work on various requests and projects in an efficient manner.
Education/Experience:
- Highschool diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
