Position Summary: Direct responsibility for successful management of contracts of various sizes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct representative to customer. Responsible for managing customer expectations and communication.
- Complete P&L accountability for projects.
- Sales hand-over meeting management and documentation.
- Convey Contract design and scope requirements to internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with suppliers and engineering to ensure: customer interface of design, execution of design, and any potential warranty associated with design and supply.
- Work closely with Operations groups to ensure timely completion of components.
- Develop and communicate project schedule to stakeholders.
- Work with procurement team to establish plans to ensure success of project.
- Financial reporting to stakeholders.
- Conduct post-shipment review and communicate action items appropriately.
- Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to (depending upon company needs and available resources)
- Part Order management.
- Rebuild Order management.
- Procurement activities.
- 5-7 years of experience of direct project management experience, preferably in a capital equipment environment.
- Job execution through an ERP process.
- Excellent oral and written skills and ability to communicate with all levels of management, vendors, and customers.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to create and manage project schedules.
- Accurate, detail-oriented and possessing a Can-Do" attitude. Able to thrive in a fast paced, highly flexible environment.
- Education Required:
- Bachelor of Science preferred (will consider significant experience in lieu of bachelors degree).
- Experience negotiating contracts >$1M with highly technical terms and conditions.
- PMP Certification is preferred, but not required.
