Job Position: Architectural Drafter/Designer

Overview:
Kraftech Homes, is a leading residential home builder committed to delivering quality craftsmanship and innovative design in every home we build. We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Drafter/Designer to join our design team. This role plays a key part in transforming architectural concepts into precise construction documents.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Produce detailed architectural drawings for new single family homes and multi-family construction based on design specifications.
- Modify existing plans to meet client needs, building codes, and zoning regulations.
- Collaborate with home designer, engineers, and project managers to ensure design intent and constructability.
- Prepare construction documents including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
- Maintain and update a library of standard home plans.
- Review and revise drawings for accuracy and compliance with industry standards and building regulations.
- Assist in permit submission and respond to plan review comments as needed.
- Design and prepare marketing literature for projects.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Drafting, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in residential architectural drafting, preferably in the home building industry.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD software.
- Knowledge of residential construction methods and materials.
- Familiarity with local building codes, zoning ordinances, and permitting processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with 3D modeling or visualization software (SketchUp, Lumion, etc.).
- Understanding of sustainable and energy-efficient design practices.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and MEP drawings.
Time schedule of this position will be Monday - Friday 8 AM – 4:30 PM.
