We are currently seeking to build our team by adding a First Shift Offset Press Operator. We are seeking an experienced 2-6 color press operator who is self-directed, and detailed-oriented with a strong work ethic to join our team. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- 1-3 years experience running 2-6 color sheetfed presses
- Set up and run press to industry standards
- Make press adjustments as required to ensure quality standards are met
- Meet or exceed print efficiency standards
- Maintain cleanliness of press and press area and perform press maintenance
- Ability to use PMS color matching book & densitometer to measure dot characteristics
- Ensure projects are completed on time while maintaining the highest quality level
- Mechanical skills
- Must be able to work independently and with a team
- Must have a strong work ethic and be self-motivated
- Strong attention to detail
- Help in other production areas as needed
- Work in other areas as needed
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- 1-3 years experience running sheetfed presses
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Prior commercial print shop experience
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all personnel
- Good verbal and written communication skills to follow job instructions
- Lift /move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and bending is required throughout the shift
- Excellent attendance and punctuality required
