Boutique Tax & Accounting Firm looking for Office Manager & Administrative Assistant

Tasks include:
• Organizes all files related to a tax and/or accounting engagements, including accepting and processing documentation, creating folders, labels and engagement letters.
• Answers phones, delivers personable, exceptional customer service/phone skills and demonstrates genuine enjoyment working with people and helping others
• Assembly of tax returns of all types and related filings, including preparation of letters, labels, envelopes, invoices.
• Demonstrates advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office applications
• Manages sensitive and critical client information
• Responsible for monthly invoicing and accounts receivable, work-in-process adjustments, posting, month-end closing processes; (familiar with Thomson Reuters Practice Software a plus)
• Maintains a positive, professional and clean environment
• Punctual, reliable, eager
Qualifications:
• Office assistant experience of 5 years or more
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must have organizational / personal / multi tasking skills
• MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook
• Familiar with tax software, (Lacerte, definitely a plus)
Position requires up to 55 hrs/week from February 1 to April 15 and may be as low as 30hrs/week after June 15th . We're looking for quick learner who is capable of taking on multiple responsibilities, great references and team player.
