Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and provide accurate financial reporting for our largest manufacturing facility.
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting and internal control compliance.
- Coordinate audits, supervise accounting staff, and lead process improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- In-depth understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and advanced knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems.
- Leadership and supervisory skills with ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, supervisory experience required.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience with a background in public accounting or 5-7 years of experience in industry with no public accounting background.
- CPA designation preferred.
