Kratos SRE is seeking a Program Manager to provide management, leadership, and oversight of new and existing programs. The program manager is responsible for ensuring design and development, delivery of hardware, software, and support equipment, and deploying personnel to successfully support the US Military and NASA. Projects are managed “end-to-end” and include mission planning, design, analysis, manufacturing, testing, and operations in an agile team environment. The Program Manager will require collaboration with multiple subcontractors and stakeholders, as well as the ability to navigate complex program management challenges. In addition, the program manager will contribute to strategic planning, business development, and lead various advanced technology projects for the corporation.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Responsibilities:
- Support & assist the Project Management Office and Technical Director with the overall technical, cost, and schedule responsibility for program-related activities to include delivery of services and the design, development, fabrication, assembly, integration, demonstration, and test of a variety systems.
- Provide leadership and direction across the program to include multiple subcontractors.
- Define program tasking/milestones and monitor adherence to program budgets, plans, cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Lead by example and champion program management best practices
- Assist in setting program priorities, resolve conflicts and barriers, implement gates and major reviews with the customer.
- Support proposal activities in support of on-contract growth.
- Interface with stakeholders and government customers
- Develops and executes integrated plans and guides the development of team business and technical strategies, goals, objectives.
- Ensures program planning and monitoring activities are in accordance with contractual obligations.
- Able to support the development & maintenance of a Integrated Master Schedules.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, suppliers, stakeholders, peers, partners, management and direct reports.
- Supports development and implementation of proposals, statements of work, strategic planning, campaign and business development strategies in pursuit of new business.
- Manages, develops, and motivates employees and low-to-mid-level team leadership.

- Experience in interfacing directly with the designated government or commercial customer representatives and supervising various task order activities is preferred.
- BA/BS with 15 years of experience in Program Management.
- May require up to 25% travel to support technical meetings, design reviews, and test events.
- Experience in Electro-mechanical, Electro-Optical and/or Hypersonic flight systems, launch vehicles for suborbital and/or orbital trajectories
- Experience in the implementation and use of Program Management Best Practices.
- Experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership.
