Senior Operations Analyst

5-D Systems, a KRATOS Company, is a growing defense contractor headquartered in Round Rock, TX with over twenty years’ experience providing systems and software engineering for Unmanned Aircraft Systems and Systems Engineering Technical Support to Government Program Offices.

5-D Systems, a KRATOS Company, is seeking a Senior Operations Analyst to serve as an expert advisor and consultant to the Program Operations Director of the Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office for coordination and performance of operational and administrative tasks associated with proponent areas which include program planning, prioritization, and management.

The Senior Operations Analyst will:

• Define, establish, and direct organizational focus on complex programs
• Resolve highly complex problems that cross organizational boundaries
• Work with senior management to establish new concepts and criteria that result in the development of new IFMC policy, methodology, and techniques
  
  

Within the broad parameters provided, the Senior Operations Analyst works independently to convert broad guidance from the Program Operation Director’s to specific individual tasks ensure the guidance is met in the most complete, realistic, and logical manner. The role involves engaging in multiple tasks simultaneously while ensuring that principles, procedures, and processes foster teamwork for quality mission performance, products, and services are adhered to by the organization. This role ensures that the organizational cost of maintaining such quality is equitable and reasonable.

Additional duties of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Managing the coordination of IFMC conferences, ceremonies, and events
• Facilitating communication across the IFMC organization
• Coordinating with PEO and HQDA staff
• Assistance in the maintenance of a working repository database of information pertaining to IFMC operations to support prompt analysis
• US Citizenship
• An active Secret security clearance and the ability to maintain
• Resident of the Huntsville area
• A master’s degree in an associated field
• 10 years of program operations analysis experience
• Three years within or supporting an Army project office
• Proficiency in the Microsoft product line
• A meticulous and detail-oriented approach
  
  

Other desired qualifications:

• Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWLA) Level II or better certification in acquisition, financial management, or engineering
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, people skills, and enthusiasm
• Highly organized, flexible, and demonstrates an attention to detail and the ability to meet time-sensitive tasks
• Ability to work with minimum guidance in addressing actions and using knowledge, ingenuity, innovation, and experience to complete the product
• Ability to handle a variety of tasks in a team environment
