Job Summary:
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing and processing invoices for 6 dealerships and this role requires accuracy, organizational skills, and the ability to handle high volumes of data efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:

- Verify, process, and record vendor invoices and payment transactions
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Record credit card transactions and reconcile credit card activity
- Ensure all payments and processes comply with company policies and are made timely
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for accounts payable activities
- Assist with month-end closing processes
- Research and follow up on past due items
- Communicate effectively with vendors, internal departments, and stakeholders to address inquiries and provide support
Qualifications:

- 3 years experience in an accounts payable role in the automotive industry is required
- Prior CDK experience is required
- Excellent organizational, time-management skills, and the ability to multi-task
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient knowledge of accounting principles
- Self-starter and the ability to work well individually and within teams
