Krautkramer & Block LLC is looking to hire a full-time administrative assistant. Primary responsibilities include entering deposits and expenses into QuickBooks online and assisting with account reconciliation, assist with payroll, and data entry. We are a local boutique financial law firm on Wausau's west side serving clients in central Wisconsin. We help clients file bankruptcy, prepare wills, and settle income and sales tax debt. Description and Duties: Administrative Assistant will help with various administrative tasks, including but not limited to the following the primary responsibilities:
· Data entry of deposits, payments, and expenses into QuickBooks on-line
· Preparing and printing checks for payment of bills
· Filing away electronic and paper deposit slips, receipts, and payments
· Assist in reconciling bank statements
· Use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Excel formulas for basic algebraic equations
· Other clerical duties, including data entry, scanning, and renaming documents
· Reviewing, sorting, downloading attachments, and replying to emails
· Reviewing status of cases and assigning tasks and projects to staff and attorneys
Secondary responsibilities include:
· Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls. Take accurate phone messages
· Greet clients and escort them to and from their meeting room. Inform other employees of client arrivals or cancellations
· Schedule appointments and calendar deadlines
· Scan, copy, print, sort, rename, organize, and file away documents
· Handle incoming and outgoing mail and email
· Input client information into software system with precision
· Proofread and edit documents for clarity, grammar, and spelling
· Transcribe dictations
· Ensure reception area and conference rooms are clean, tidy, and presentable
· Other assigned tasks
Skills and Qualifications:
· Minimum education level expected: High School Diploma. Some college preferred.
· No prior experience or training is required. On-the-job training will be provided.

Compensation:
· 18 to 20 per hour. Based on experience.
· Full-time 40 hours per week
· Once eligibility and milestones are obtained, 401k, vacation, holiday pay, and bonuses may be offered.
