Host/Hostess

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional service to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to creating a welcoming atmosphere. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in setting the tone for their dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service.
• Answer phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations and providing information about the menu and specials.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
• Assist in managing guest relations, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
• Utilize POS systems for takeout and delivery orders.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality as a host is required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff.
• Familiarity with POS and reservation systems.
• Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and a passion for providing outstanding guest experiences.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.28 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 28 per week
