Job Overview
The Reserve at Lake Keowee is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the housekeeping department. This role will ensure that all areas, including amenities and lodging units, meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. The Housekeeping Supervisor will lead, train, and support the housekeeping team to deliver consistent, high-quality service while maintaining a safe and professional work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership and Coordination:
- Oversee and direct the daily activities of the housekeeping team.
- Assign tasks and ensure that all cleaning and maintenance schedules are followed.
- Monitor team performance and provide guidance, support, and constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Training and Development:
- Train new hires on company policies, cleaning standards, and procedures.
- Ensure staff are knowledgeable about proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular refresher training sessions to maintain consistency and quality.
- Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Perform and oversee routine cleaning tasks, including:
- Floor care (vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping).
- Dusting (ceilings, moldings, walls, baseboards, and fixtures).
- Restroom cleaning and sanitizing.
- Glass and window cleaning.
- Trash removal and linen care.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure all areas meet cleanliness and safety standards.
- Perform and oversee routine cleaning tasks, including:
- Inventory and Supplies:
- Manage and monitor cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Ensure proper use, handling, and storage of all cleaning products.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to the Housekeeping Manager.
- Customer Service:
- Respond promptly to guest requests and feedback related to housekeeping services.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Address and resolve any housekeeping-related issues or concerns.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Enforce proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Monitor and address safety hazards and maintenance issues.

Requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hospitality or resort setting.
- At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience in a housekeeping environment.
- Ability to lift at least 30 lbs and stand, walk, climb, and bend for extended periods.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
