Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote the intellectual and social development of preschool-aged children
- Create a safe and supportive learning environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and creativity
- Provide individualized attention to each student to support their unique learning needs
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to ensure the best possible outcomes for each child
- Incorporate activities that promote math skills, physical education, and early intervention strategies
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to foster a positive learning atmosphere
- Integrate Montessori principles into daily activities to enhance student engagement and independence
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Proven experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare or educational setting
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and best practices
- Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when working with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
- Previous experience with tutoring or providing extra support to students is a plus
