Job Description:
The Agricultural Machinery Specialist II will be responsible for overseeing the on-site crop shop, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and repaired. This includes performing basic and advanced mechanical duties, such as trouble shooting, diagnostics and repair of equipment in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake checks.
- Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify potential issues.
- Repair and replace damaged or worn-out parts.
- Collaborate with crop shop staff to develop and implement efficient maintenance schedules.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of five years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance.
- ASE Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician Certification preferred.
