About The Function
Kreischer Miller continues to prosper and grow! With approximately 280 team members located in Horsham, PA, we are currently seeking to add an Onboarding Supervisor to our outstanding team.
Outsourced Accounting Services is designed to support clients in effectively recording transactions and producing accurate financial reports that are used by management teams and business owners. Client Accounting Supervisors are given a wide variety of accounting assignments under the direction of the Manager of the Outsourced Accounting Services Group. At Kreischer Miller, you will have the opportunity to work directly with business owners in a variety of industries and learn from the leaders of our firm.
The Onboarding Supervisor’s primary function is to oversee and facilitate the onboarding of new clients to the Outsourced Accounting and Finance Services group. This role has a variety of tasks and is dynamic and changing. It involves guiding clients through the setup process, ensuring that all necessary documentation, systems and procedures are in place for successful account management. Being comfortable making connections with people and having an engaging and empathetic communication style is the key to achieving the goals of this job. The Onboarding Supervisor will also utilize advanced accounting skills to clean up and organize historical financial data, ensuring accuracy and compliance. This position requires a cooperative, collaborative decision-making process and technical accounting expertise to ensure clients receive a smooth, comprehensive onboarding experience. The focus of this job is on producing high quality detailed work based on established standards, guidelines and procedures. Job knowledge and competency is built through structured step-by-step training and positive, supportive coaching from team members. Consistent, error-free work based on defined standards and positive client interactions are key measures of job performance success. This role plays a critical part in ensuring new clients have a positive experience from the outset, setting the foundation for a successful, long-term partnership with the firm.
What makes you a fit for this role?
- 5 years of experience private/public accounting, CPA preferred
- Experience with QuickBooks and/or Yardi Voyager a plus
- Ability to follow quality standards to execute on desired goals in a fast paced environment
- A strong team-player using a persuasive and collaborative communication style
- Ability to motivate, engage, and coach teammates
- Demonstrated record of strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with a demonstrated track record of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
