Overview
- Senior Business Development Manager for Design and Product Development
- Reports to: Design & Product Development Business Development Director
- Revenue Generation: Develop a pipeline and convert opportunities to drive organic growth for D&D by building relationships with current and prospective clients
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients in the design, development, and Human Factors sectors
- Lead Generation: Identify and generate leads through networking, referrals, events, data mining, and targeted outreach to expand the client base
- Proposal Development: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and project requirements, objectives, and budget constraints, and work with internal teams to develop tailored solutions
- Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements while adhering to the company's goals and profitability targets
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, engineering, project management, manufacturing, and other teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and delivery of high-quality solutions
- Design to Manufacturing: Work closely with the sales team to x-sell global manufacturing capabilities and seek product development opportunities that can be transferred to for manufacturing
- Sales Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts, track progress against targets, and report on activities to the D&D Business Development Director
- Market Expansion: Identify opportunities to expand the company's services and enter new markets within the targeted design, development, and Human Factors sectors
- Competitor Analysis: Monitor and analyze competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market positioning to identify areas for differentiation and competitive advantage
- Client Feedback: Gather and incorporate client feedback to continuously improve the company's offerings and enhance customer satisfaction
Based in: Morristown, NJ (hybrid work arrangement with regular visits to the Morristown site)

Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
