Primary Responsibilities & Duties include:


The role of the Sales and Event Manager is to drive incremental restaurant sales for multiple locations and Company brands through the sourcing, booking, and professional execution of “a cut above” group events. The Sales and Event Manager will own and execute all campaigns, programs, and outbound communications designed to create and enhance brand awareness and drive top-tier event, banquet, & catering leads necessary to fuel the Company's grown.


  • Increase brand recognition for group events for an individual or multiple concepts and locations through the development of a strategic plan that explores new, creative methods/tactics to engage prospective group customers.
  • Cultivate leads by attending networking events, community events, and local government or chamber meetings.
  • Conduct market research to generate new warm and cold leads. Identify prospects that fit our target demographic.
  • Research upcoming conventions to identify potential groups. Make contact with group leaders or organizers and communicate what the Company has to offer convention attendees.
  • Create, maintain, and update the company's leads list including contact information the lead's cold or warm status.
  • Create a successful strategy to transition cold leads to warm leads and ultimately to event customers.
  • Partner with the Company’s marketing team to create fresh and frequent messaging through multiple forms of media communications to reach the group event organizer (potential customers).
  • Contact potential event customers via telephone and email. Utilize marketing's creative assistance to generate email communications including periodic email blasts to potential customers.
  • Schedule in person and virtual meetings with high-level prospects and educate them our outstanding event offerings.
  • Use your extensive company knowledge to communicate the outstanding food, service, entertainment, and other amenities the Company has to offer its event customers.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with venders and venues.
  • Create, maintain, & update the Company's database of customers with complete information & email addresses.
  • Create & manage the master event calendar, manage project timelines, and ensure deliverables are met as Brand Event Manager is the primary contact for the group event organizers and the restaurant management teams assisting with the execution of the events.
  • Frequently communicate with the group event organizers and restaurant management teams
  • Collaborate with managers, operations leaders, and procurement for menu development and event pricing.
  • Execute contracts for group sales, events, & buyouts within Company guidelines.
  • Actively manage & support the flawless execution of group events, on-site, ensuring we exceed the group organizer’s and their guests’ expectations whenever possible.
  • Provide guidance and training to the event staff in advance of the event.
  • Provide daily updates regarding event/group sales & marketing.
  • Provide a debriefing to operations and executive leaders after each event.
  • Develop & distribute reports to operations & executive leaders providing an analysis of recent event activities, upcoming events, and future event development strategies.


Position Requirements:

  • Must have at least 3 years successful event sales and management experience. A strong background in marketing including social media is a plus.
  • Must have a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Must project an energetic and outgoing personality to the clients and their guests. You must find opportunities to exceed their expectations and represent the company well.
  • Must have strong organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Must have excellent time-management skills and work well under pressure.
  • Must have a great attention to detail and be able to hold to a high standard.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Must be able to regularly and navigate all areas of the venue for extended periods of time without sitting.
  • Must be able to visually discern quality, cleanliness, and safety issues during an event and be able to taste and smell to discern food quality. 

Salary : $68,640
