The Senior Salesforce Administrator will mentor our Salesforce Administration team and be an essential part of Krispy Krunchy’s organization. You'll be tasked with building, maintaining, optimizing, and scaling our Salesforce infrastructure amidst a constantly changing environment.
This role will report to the Director of Salesforce and Field Support and will be a key member of our centralized Transformation team, bringing a track record of proven success - preferably in a high-growth, fast-paced startup environment. You will be the subject matter expert on both the Salesforce and Krispy Krunchy’s Salesforce roadmap, responsible for the scoping and execution of various Salesforce enhancements. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Salesforce Cloud, automation, troubleshooting, and integration, with a knack for project management and a passion for optimizing complex workflows. The Sr. Salesforce Administrator will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and ensure that our Salesforce instance is running at peak performance.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
System Design and Implementation:
- Conduct comprehensive needs analysis sessions with stakeholders including Sales, Operations, Marketing, Accounting and Finance to gather detailed business requirements and translate them into actionable system designs.
- Design and implement a scalable Salesforce architecture that supports current business processes while anticipating future growth, including potential mergers and acquisitions.
- Configure all aspects of the Salesforce platform, including objects, fields, page layouts, record types, workflows, validation rules, approval processes, process builders, and reports and dashboards.
- Develop and maintain custom applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other Salesforce technologies to enhance platform functionality and address unique business needs.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy by developing data mapping strategies, cleansing and deduplicating data, and conducting thorough data validation checks.
- Establish and maintain clear documentation of all configurations, customizations, and integrations within the Salesforce environment.
- Create and manage user accounts, profiles, permission sets, and roles, focusing on granular access control and data security.
- Implement and maintain a robust security model to protect sensitive customer and company information, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
- Conduct regular audits of user access and permissions to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training materials and programs for end-users of varying Salesforce proficiency levels, utilizing diverse methods such as online tutorials, in-person workshops, and documentation.
- Provide ongoing technical support to users, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents promptly and efficiently.
- Establish and maintain a knowledge base of common Salesforce issues and solutions to empower users with self-service resources.
- Proactively monitor system performance and identify improvement opportunities using Salesforce Optimizer and other diagnostic tools.
- Implement and enforce Salesforce best practices to ensure optimal system performance, data integrity, and user experience.
- Stay updated on the latest Salesforce releases, features, and updates, evaluating their potential benefits and impacts on business processes.
- Plan and execute seamless upgrades and updates to the Salesforce platform, minimizing disruptions to business operations.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical leadership to junior Salesforce administrators as the team grows.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment that encourages knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Delegate tasks effectively and empower team members to take ownership of their responsibilities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the field required.
- Salesforce Experience: 5 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator in a complex business environment.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices, security protocols, and governance frameworks.
- Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201) is required. Preferred certifications include Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, Developer, CPQ, Sales Cloud Consultant, and Service Cloud Consultant.
- Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and managing Salesforce solutions from initial conception through development and ongoing maintenance.
- Proficient in Salesforce Flow, Workbench, Developer Console, and debugging tools, as well as deployment tools. Deep understanding of relational databases and data integration tools.
- Experience with programming languages such as SoQL, SQL, JavaScript, Java, and Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other Salesforce development technologies is essential.
- Skilled in data migration tools and techniques, including data mapping, cleansing, and validation.
- Experience with Agile project management methodologies and tools is preferred.
