Operations Manager – Carolina Heating Service

Summary : The Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Carolina Heating Service, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow, maximizing productivity, and meeting key performance indicators. This role requires a strong understanding of operational processes, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and excellent leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily operations within the organization, including inventory management, quality control, and customer service
- Develop and implement operational strategies and procedures to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
- Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of employees, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Recruit, hire, and onboard new team members.
- Manage employee schedules, including overtime and vacation time.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth cross-functional operations.
- Identify and resolve operational challenges and implement corrective actions.
- Continuously improve operational processes through lean methodologies, process improvement initiatives, and technology implementation.
- Prepare reports and presentations for management on operational performance.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies.
- Other duties as assigned.
