Nature of Work:
The Direct Response Ad Sales Planner will report directly to the Vice President of Ad Sales Pricing and Planning. Working under general supervision, this role collaborates closely with the Outdoor Sportsman Group advertising sales team to facilitate direct response advertising sales. The planner provides plans, research, and marketing elements tailored to client and agency needs. Key responsibilities include the timely and accurate entry of direct response sales orders and related customer service activities.
Examples of work performed:
- Review and process direct response (DR) inventory orders, ensuring pricing and inventory requests are within agreed parameters.
- Collaborate with Account Executive/National Accounts Manager and Pricing and Planning team to create customized proposals and client presentations.
- Update DR orders as needed due to pricing, inventory, and clearance changes. Communicate relevant information to Account Executive and clients/agencies.
- Create and distribute network audience estimates, pre-log reports and post log reports to DR agencies and clients.
- Develop and update materials to track orders, revenue, clearance rates, inventory utilization, accounts and credits.
- Support account executive with appointment management and prospecting activities.
- Manage new account credit approvals and billing reconciliation.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and communicate issues that could delay payments.
- Support other Sales Planners, Coordinators, Pricing and Planning management, and Traffic department team members as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Minimum
- Bachelor’s degree
- Requires a minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in cable TV industry sales and/or administration
- Required proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate Excel and Power Point skills

- Experienced with sales applications such as ClearSlide, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Dynamics 365, WideOrbit Network, and other relevant customer and order management systems.
Compensation
- Base Salary Range up to $53,000 per annum ($25.48/hour)
