Position SummaryProvide human resource consultation and support and implement HR strategies throughout division. Partner to lead the division in developing a high-performance culture where associates are aligned to the business strategy, trained, knowledgeable, and accountable for their performance. Lead the district HR leaders in their execution of human resources functions, including day-to-day tasks across the talent management cycle, associate relations and total rewards. Essential Job Functions
Provide day to day HR support and consultation for administrative departments and ensure overall alignment with people strategyPartner with division HR leader to implement and drive talent strategiesManage overall talent acquisition efforts for store and administrative associates by partnering with the recruiting COE to help with talent needs, prioritization, and progress against hiring plansOversee processes including performance assessments, development plans, and succession planning for key rolesCollaborate with division management and Labor Relations teams in the execution of the overall strategic direction for collective bargaining/associate relationsManage and resolve employee relation issues for store leaders and aboveCollaborate with district HR leaders to ensure recruiting, training and performance evaluation processes are compliant with company/legal guidelinesAssist district HR leaders in reviewing/analyzing turnover statistics to identify opportunities to improve retention and staffing needs and to develop effective recruiting/retention plansSupport the development and maintenance of an inclusive business culture within the divisionSupport district HR leaders with the consistent, ongoing processes related to roles and responsibilitiesSupervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reportsTravel up to 50% of time to support business throughout divisionMust be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodationMinimum Position Qualifications
5 years as HR business partner, HR generalist, or other related HR experienceExcellent oral/written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to effectively partner with all levels of the organization, positively influence teams and manage conflictApplied knowledge of federal, state and local laws and statutes for employmentStrong analytical and data interpretation skills with an ability to apply quantitative analysis to HR outcomes and use data to influence and drive decisionsStrong business and financial acumenDemonstrated ability to protect highly confidential and sensitive informationDesired Previous Experience/Education
Bachelor's Degree in business administration, human resources, or related fieldPHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification3 years in a HR leadership roleAny experience with labor contracts, being a store or assistant store leader
