Job Purpose or Summary :
A Process Engineer is responsible for producing designs of systems, process engineering calculations and deliverables, specifying and procuring equipment and leading system commissioning. The Process Engineer will also aid in proposal development.
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Create and modify P&ID drawings.
- Perform calculations that include, but are not limited to plant process utility analysis, heat transfer balance, piping pressure loss analysis, batch timelines & system mass balances.
- Complete specification of process equipment and components.
- Develop and manage comprehensive Bill of Material for purchase of specified equipment and components.
- Direct customer and internal discussions to define scope requirements, assumptions, and exclusions.
- Aid in and lead hands-on in strategic planning for comprehensive project activities across departments.
- Cost Estimation of Equipment, components, and process engineering labor for proposal development.
- Travel to different facilities and / or customer sites as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering.
Experience / Training : 3-6 years of experience in a related field.
